The Rotary Club La Valette Malta is a young, dual gender club numbering over 40 members, which was chartered in April 2002 and proudly forms part of Rotary International - the world's largest service organisation. We meet on Thursdays at the Intercontinental Hotel, St. George's Bay, St. Julians  at 7pm for 7.30pm. Visitors are welcome - see our monthly programme to find out what is happening.

There is another club, Rotary Club Malta, which was formed in 1967 and now has over 100 members. Rotary Club Malta meets on Monday nights at 7pm at the Corinthia San Gorg Hotel in St Julians. Both Clubs sponsor Rotaract Malta La Valette which meets once a month on Monday evenings. All clubs form part of District 2110 (Sicily and Malta) and are proud to be part of an international district.

Rotary is a way of life and the Object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and, in particular, to encourage and foster:

• First - the development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service;
• Second - high ethical standards in business and professions; the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations; and the dignifying of each Rotarian's occupation as an opportunity to serve society;
• Third - the application of the ideal of service in each Rotarian's personal, business, and community life;
• Fourth - the advancement of international understanding, goodwill, and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional persons united in the ideal of service.
